Kase New Zealand Ambassador: Meghan Maloney

Meghan’s passion for landscape and travel photography began in 2014 with her first camera purchase and investment in using neutral density filters. Over the years she has grown a large following on Instagram and Facebook and now works with clients across New Zealand to promote travel destinations and experiences. She travels extensively throughout New Zealand to capture images that show the essence and natural beauty of the country to inspire others.

Meghan shoots exclusively with Sony and she is one of only a few advocates for Sony New Zealand. In 2020, Meghan was the only female and New Zealander chosen to promote Sony’s full frame camera and G Master lenses in a new campaign throughout Australasia.

Meghan regularly hosts small-group weekend landscape photography workshops throughout New Zealand which are a combination of in-the-field live training and classroom-based learning in composition and post-processing Lightroom techniques. The workshops cover sunrise and sunset, long exposure techniques at waterfalls, and astrophotography to take advantage of NZ’s amazing dark skies. Her workshops allow participants to get familiar with using Kase Filters and participants are always amazed at the results they achieve with the filters.

After trying out various other brands of 100mm filter systems over the years, Meghan was quick to embrace and promote Kase Filters, finding them the best design and quality by far. She is now the official distributor for Kase Filters in New Zealand.
